10/28/14 3:15 AM - Still Running Hard - 20 Hour Workday

I haven't left the office yet. Today was a HUGE day for business! We are launching a new program at the end of the week and I was finishing the paperwork for that. I have also been reviewing the accounting and working on marketing.

Pretty tired, but I plan to hop in my zero gravity massage chair and then get back to work. I've been working for 20 hours straight. I've had some heart burn from all the espresso, but nothing that a little Pepcid can't fix.

I'll let you know when I call it a night...

Lots of work & Heartburn

I believe the sign that I'm getting older is that I get heartburn now...which is awful. Why? What is doing it? My electronic cigarette? Diet Coke? What is the culprit? Anyways, update on the work flow - We are busy as HELL! I'm underwriting loans like a champ. Still positive, just a little cranky. Took an IQ test today...scored a 134.
I would like to think that is my real IQ but I'm sure it's just a site to drive traffic. Either way, I enjoyed rubbing it in my husband's face on IM. He originally emailed me the link and told me to take it when I had a breather.

I had many conference calls today. Manager called out tomorrow. One of the CSRs left because no one could understand her...all these sick people. Take some vitamin C...

Talked to my partner today. He seemed proud of me. I sure do like that man! He has such good manners and speaks so softly! I feel like he's the father I never had. Nothing puts me in a better mood than to hear him laugh. These are my new partners, who invested 10 million dollars in my company. It feels good to have them believe in a young chick like myself. I have a lot to learn from these guys...they are super successful.

I won't stop impressing them.
Just another day in the shoes of a determined little entrepreneur. Lets see how many hours I work today! I got up at 7:30, took a shower, went to the doctor and started my Monday Hustle.

Haven't left my office...just jammin to Pandora and writing emails, doing a little marketing research, monitoring employees, answering questions for my managers, working on the accounting and...underwriting loans.

No slumps in this girl's productivity levels.

Conference calls and bloodwork

Happy Monday! Get ready to go hard. Blood work, underwriting, problem solving, marketing, and conference calls.

The only part of today that sucks is the blood work.

I'll keep you all posted...the posting of work updates is quite an adjustment for me

4:22 AM - Need to get my beauty sleep

I think I need to call it a night. I have a conference call in the morning, blood work, and a long day of underwriting. I finished a ton of accounting, but my toes are freezing and even super woman needs her beauty sleep. No one likes puffy bags under their eyes...

I'll be back up at 6:45 AM - lots of work to be done on Monday...which is today. :)

Sunday Funday is now Monday - still going 18 hours

It's 3:14 AM and I'm working on the accounting while laughing at some recorded re-runs of "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver."

I know I have an 8:30 AM conference call with my manager in my VA office and local customer service manager...thinking I should call it a night, but still in the zone.

Think I'll have another Diet Coke and keep pushing.

Just another day in my Christian Louboutins.

Still going strong: 16 hour Sunday

Still going strong. Need to set up the Bing ppc and allocate part of the advertising budget to it. Also, need to finish updating the accounting to include all the sales from the weekend. I also need to write an email to my partner about payment processing department and some products that need to be launched at the end of the day.
The craziest thing is my little brother runs the business with me. He has the same sleep schedule and just tested me to see if I wanted to train him right now. His mind fires late at night, which leads me to believe that this is genetics that allows us to be functional for such long hours. I call my brother lemur, because he's way happier at night...he's "a creature of the night."

Well, think I'm going to head down the street to train Leems on underwriting, so I can have a day off during the holidays.

I will be making magic happen will you're all snoozing.

Success drives me...I'll have time to sleep when I'm dead.

My 2-3 hour sleep cycle

One of the keys to sleeping a few hours a night is my quality of sleep. I never wake up while I'm sleeping. I think this is because I'm so tired. There has only been one a handful of times that I have tossed and turned throughout the night and it was awful. My husband sometimes thinks I'm faking because I can fall asleep in a matter of minutes when I get in my bed. I believe the quality of my 2-3 hours of sleep is better than the average person's 6-8 hours. I wake up feeling rested. Some weekends I will sleep for many hours and "catch up" but I can live without these "catch-up" periods.

How do I sleep so well? A fluffy pillow, awesome bedding, and a mattress that I day dream about. My room has black out curtains and doesn't have any bright colors. My bedding is grey and white and my walls are a dark grey. I refer to my room as my "cave" and I love it. There is no bed like mine and I feel safe in my cloud.

My sleep is good sleep and I feel bad for the "light sleepers" of the world.
